Preserving Biodiversity

WATER ISSUES

Picture
Will there be enough water for us? That seems to be the question asked at conferences and conventions on biodiversity. And what about sustainability of fish and wildlife who depend on water to survive? Some marine water ecosystems are so depleted and deprived that the Global Biodiversity Outlook 3 refers to them as “dead zones.”  Many of these dead zones hug the U.S. coastlines.
